Good one Rodger, the user! Other than the floppy, which is probably 5 years old, a fan out of an AT PS. Yea most AT PS's aren't that old, but I mean a REAL IBM AT! That's a 286 for the young folks. Which means it's about 15-16 years old. Mounted above my PS in the HX08 it's still quiet and blowing strong.
Iiyama VM Pro 502 is 2 years old, next is a 3com 3C905B nic at 1.5 years, then an Adaptec SCSI card at 10 months.
TBird 1.1ghz on Epox 8KTA2, Matrox G450, SBLive Platinum, IBM 30gig ATA100 hd.
Mine is the classic soundcard, the Roland LAPC-1 (MT-32 on a 13" ISA card.) It's still a hottie even today, although not used by games anymore. For anyone who writes music, its VERY flexible synthesizer is incredibly cool... I have thousands of different sounds to play with! It doesn't sound great for acoustic stuff like pianos, but I have a Super Sound Canvas for that.
hmm 32x cdrom. . pretty old. . nuthin else, i've owned over a yr. .cept floppy, and some cables, oh i do have a suncom joystick that is bout 3 yrs old, so old the ps2 keyboard passthough is corroded, so i hafta use the AT. .
Probably my sound card: a Diamond Monster Sound M80, which predates the MX200 and 300. It still works fine and supports A3D, so it works nicely in games.
I forgot about my monitor - Dell 17", it will turn 3 in feburary! My other system is using a Dell (14"??) monitor from 1990 - SVGA! It still works fine though, as long as you don't try a resolution higher than 640x480.
