Poll: What's the oldest system component that you have in your current system?

I have 2: My US robotics 56k sportster modem (about 4 years old) and my Abit Bx6 1.0 motherboard (3 years old).

You should exclude floppy drive as an answer. It will be the oldest component in most peoples system. I couldn't even say how old mine is.

My tape drive. I think it's 5 years old. I bought it used 2 years ago so I don't know for sure. Damn that thing is SLOW!

Both of my systems are less than 3 years old. I think I've cycled through all my old parts. Maybe I have a ribbon cable in the one system that is like 5 years old.

Maxtor 27 gig HDD & Kingston NIC for DSL - both purchased one year ago (Dec) - everythin was new in feb. or upgraded since then.

Floppy drive (who knows how old) and a 36X CD-ROM I bought a couple of years ago but never used (so I guess it is technically brand new). The rest of the system has been arriving over the last couple of weeks. Just assembled the thing last night.

Other than the floppies (3½ came out of a 486, and the 5¼ came out of a 286, I think), everything else in new. HDDs, case, CDRW, ARCO DupliDisk, CPU, and fan all 4/99. NIC was given to me, so dunno. CD-ROM was given to me as broken, so dunno. Keyboard was lifted from work, and is about 2 years. The joystick is about 4 years, and the trackball was an XMas present (soon to be replaced ) The one good memory stick is about 8 months.

I got an old hp tape drive in my sever. It ain't supported in NT 4 but I am just to lazy to take it out. It's gotta be 3 years old, maybe more.

I have a Black mid tower case in to which I installed a 286 around '92(it now has a ATX PS, FIC 503+/ K62-450). I think that that is the granddaddy (greatgranddad?) of everything in this thread. I also have a 5.25 and maybe a 3.5 Floppy drive which could date back to then, I have lost track of which floppy came from where.
