Passed at cop doing close to 110 mph once. But luckily for me, he was busy giving some other guy a ticket.

Around the 130 range in an '85 Toy Supra on I-90 between Seattle and Spokane. Nice and smooth, just not enough power for the weight of the car :(

I had an RX-7 up to around 95 on I-90 in Spokane once, but it felt like it was going to pull off the road and flip on me, so I let up and didn't push it any further. Last time I try that crap in a featherweight of a car.

Have been 130+ as a passenger in my ex-roommate's '84 300ZX and it was smooth as glass and there was still power left (that was between Leavenworth & Wenatchee, WA).

Last May, I had my former Toy 4x4 V6 up to 103 on I-90 in Montana. That was about as far as I think I could get it to go. Ran out of straight stretch to find out. Toy 4x4 isn't exactly a cornering machine.

Now I'm in Japan, so even if I got my Toyota Ceres up to speed, it wouldn't be much because everything here is governed :(

127 MPH in my '87 BMW 325e. Car was hovering over the pavement, I swear.
140 MPH in a Porche Carrera 4. Too scared to go any faster.

It's not stupid. Look at the Germans and their Autobahn, and the cars that come from there. I actually find my car easier to handle on the freeway at 100mph than 60mph, it wanders too much at 60 while at 100 it tracks like an arrow. You can even move the steering wheel a bit and it still goes straight.

120 on a 93 Eclipse. I slowed down because it got kind of scary. I also driven a BMW 325 at almost the same speed, the difference was that the BMW was solid and ever so smoothe. I could have pushed for more very easily but didnt think it was I wise thing to do. I had 3 bad car accidents, non related to speed. Always some fvck up, acting crazy.

165 in a modified 87 Mustang LX... Block replaced with a SVO GT-40 Block, 60psi Injectors, pursuit transmission from an 89 interceptor, dual vortech superchargers...

Reckless driving, reckless endangerment...

No license for 10 years...

More fines than I can count on all my fingers and toes... :(

But, looking back, it may have been stupid, but it sure was fun :D

Fatest I've done is about 140 km/h which is what...around 85 mph or so. I've done that on several streaches of highway. It's the max my engine will do, my trusty '91 Dodge Shadow hasn't failed me yet, 225,000 km and still going strong :D

A long time ago in a galax......... wait a minute, back to reality.
Back in 1986, had a Honda 750 dual cam that slowly rocketed me to 141 mph on a straight stretch of Hwy 75 whilst heading to Stony Creek. Kept er there for about .5 seconds, then realized just how frickin STUPID this is as a buddy flew by me on a Kawi 900. Could not believe what a rush it was! Never again tho.....................

Fastest I've ever gone is 55mph in a 55 zone, just as I passed you speed demons wrecks by the side of the road.

Btw if anyone is missing a hubcap I'm selling it on ebay.

I'm also available for towing you out of snow embankments with a tow cable attached to your bumper.

Speaking of which I'm also selling a used rear bumper on ebay, slighly damaged to pieces.

I don't know what the drivers are like where you live but if you do 55mph on the highways here (a bit less than 90km/h) you will be forcing 18 wheelers to pass you and you will be disturb the flow of traffic of the entire freeway if there is enough traffic. YOU would be the one causing the potential wrecks. Of course this only applies outside of rush hour when traffic is flowing faster :)
