At work here we just got our new 733s with W98, up until about a week ago we had P133s with W95. At home I have 98 and it runs great for me , but the wife just bought 2000 for her PC, for $20. ;)

WinME...no drivers work with this thing...crashes alot for me. Win98se pretty good, at least teh drivers worked. Win95 hell yea, but no usb. nt4.0, no crashes whatsoever. Win2k, oh yeah...can't wait till i try out server next week. that's right, i'm switching to server2k...whistler looks like bloatware. my 3.7 cents.

Running Win2000, no complaints in sight.
Every machine I've encountered WinME is trashed by that stooopid OS. :p:|

Win2k-very stable and great with games
WinNT sp4 -ok, mcuh to plain compared to win2k
RH 6.2 -high learning curve, although the most powerful of the 3

Win2k (and win98se in dual for one game, damn that Planescape Torment ) love the stability even tho' it crashes with UT sometimes for me :(

Mandrake 7.1 (will upgrade to 7.2 to test;)) gotta love having a box that couldn't stay up for more than 12hrs with win9x now going on 97 days of uptime ;)

Klinux (the ultimate OS ;))

on it. It has gotta be better than WIN98...:|

On the TBird 900 - WinME. Sucks badly.
On the TBird 900 - BeOS 5.0 PE. Very nice but no PPPoE support yet.
On the TBird 900 - Linux Mandrake 7.2. My prefered OS/distribution after Slack.
On the K6-2 333 - Win98SE. Sucks horribly.
On the K6-2 300 - Win98 Classic. Sucks just as bad as 98SE.
On the P200 - Win98 Classic. Sucks just as bad on the 200 as on the 300.
On the dual 233 - Slackware Linux 7.1. I managed to lock the system once (didn't like me yanking the keyboard).

win98 - hate it, soon to be replaced by win2k. win98 is just too dodgy.
red hat linux 6.2 - i like it, but i dont have enough of an understanding yet to use it for everything and call it the all-mighty pinnicle of OS's :)

Win98SE is running ok on my gaming/internet system. My other PC is running Win98SE and W2K via dualboot. W2K is much, much more stable and runs faster too.
