POLL: What kind of water do you drink?

Do you drink tap water directly or do you filter it? What filter do you use?

I'm an RO guy myself, even though it wastes water.

whatever. i prefer filtered and drink that at home, but usually i keep a bottle or two in the car and just find a water fountain at work or school. i drink lots of water but i dont like carrying that much around with me

I only recently put a faucet filter on when I moved back to Florida. After drinking exceptionally clean water in the mountains of Tennessee for two years Florida water in comparison tastes completely awful. I guess I didn't notice it before. After living in TN I know what clean water is, and Florida doesn't have it!

i have not had tap water in YEARS. only ice mountain bottle water for me. something funky about the tap water here. plus, i had a bad habit of drinking too much soda. a bottle of water curves that desire because i still have a drink in my grasp. its psychological, i know

Tap. But we have the whole houses water filtered... 😛

Of course the filters are old now, but still.. tastes just fine with some ice in it. 🙂

We're talking water here, not rocket engines. 😉

Tap here.

It's a very sad state of affairs indeed where only 50-60 percent of people get their water from the tap. Those evil filter and bottled water companies are laughing at you.

I've got a 5 stage RO/DI 75 gallon per day system, but that's for the reef tank. The tap water tasted much better.

Lets lay this to rest right now.

There is no such thing as vitamin water. It's not water. It's different colors, it has all sorts of shit in it, and it certainly does not taste like water. I can;t believe marketing did it again. Why am I not rich for being so cynical and thinking this dumb shit up??

Son of a bitch how many types of water is there? Did we discover another molecular property of water that mutates?

Tap water if I want a quick drink, aka drink from the faucet. Otherwise I have a Pure filter in the fridge for some nice cold clean water when I want 🙂

Kroger 'purified drinking' water. Cheap (<$4/case) and has the 1/2 liter, resealable bottle convenience. Use tap water for oj, lemonade, cooking, etc. The dogs drink tap water.

No one I know of who has used any type of add-on filter is still using it after a few months. The novelty wears off quickly as maintenance needs settle in.

Ok, Lewis.

My fridge has a Pur water filter built in so that is what we drink and make ice out of. Filters cost about $40 and last a few months.

Because somebody else thought of it before you, marketed it, and here we are. People are stupid, use this to your advantage. Never underestimate the power of marketing, look at the "energy drink" market. 2-3 bucks for a can of soda with some powder thrown into it.

Behold, the power of suggestion and marketing. Get your water here folks! It's the best water there is! It's simply the best! Get it here folks! Get your special water here folks!

It worked in the 1800s, it still works today. People are stupid. Use this, know this, they will make you money.

Love the RO stuff. Water tastes so sweet and good, even when warm! Purchasing a RO/DI filter was one of the best moves I made all year...
