American Muscle car...
Hennessey Venom 650R
Saleen S7
Vette Z06 (can't think of a tuner Vette off the top of my head)
(those three go straight and turn fast)
Any Hemi powered car
Cobra 427
(love Classic muscle)
Then again, you have those Italian cars named after cities.. Or those cars from Stuttgart..

Or those Hi-po Japanese cars.. Lancer, Skyline, Supra TT, etc..

Hell, I like em all!

Right, but the question was "What Kind of Car Would You Rather Drive," not "What Kind of Car Will You Someday Buy because You can Afford it and You Want it?"

:)

EDIT: Besides, most people here won't be able to afford a (new) Z06, M5, Skyline, etc.:)

The Lingenfelter Corvette and the Callaway Corvette are cars that I would really love to have.

Dynamix3D - Honda just charges you more to import an Accord than a Civic. And as far as the Corvette being old... So??? It will still spank an import. Do you realize what you have to do to an import to get 800hp? Probably drop a V8 in it.

I like my 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT a lot more than my old 1992 Pontiac Grand Am SE ;)
V6 vs 4 cylinder
Red vs Teal
2 Dr sports car vs 4 dr coupe
Fast vs Wishes it was fast
Pretty vs Would be pretty if it wasn't teal...

If Dynamix3D would put some damn parameters on this stupid poll, like I asked earlier, maybe we could make some sensible headway.

Put a $20,000 limit on the outlay for the car and see who comes out on top? Bump it up another $5,000 and check again. Keep bumping it up till you're at the $50,000 point. I'm betting that dollar for dollar, the muscle car will almost always be the best bang for the buck. Hell of a lot safer with more elbow room too. But hell, who cares about that? Since you're cruising in it 99.9% of the time and "racing" that last .1%, I guess comfort and safety take a back seat...

I own a Japanese sports car, but I would prefer to drive the Venom (Viper @ 600hp).

Off the line, my car cannot compete with an American vehicle, which really does bother me. I like performance all around, not just at high RPMs.

Viper you can't lump all imports into not having torque. You must mean Japanese specifically cause Germans and English have torque.
