Poll: What is your favorite Final Fantasy game?

I think that after US3 they go downhill. 7 was cool, I hated 8, 10 was pretty good.

I like US3 for the music as much as anything. Great story, great music. I don't like what happened to Terra though. Kind of lame.

it isn't anywhere near as good as FF2 and FF3, and only someone who didn't play either would ever say that it was better than those two awesome games.

I like the different personalities on the SNES games. I mean, the characters aren't really as interchangable.

Plus I didn't really hate Sephiroth. I *hated* Zeromus and Kefka.

FF3 the characters were completely interchangable...

Except for Gogo, you couldn't teach one character the other's skill.

For throwing you needed Shadow.
For tools you needed Edgar.

Now, it's true that you could teach anyone magic, but that loses its fun after a few games. In FF7, I think the only things unique to them were weapon types and limit breaks.

I've always been partial to the orginal (FFI), and FF2 US.

I did enjoy FF3 US, though, as well as Mystic Quest and FF9.
