Am curious what this forum thinks, after the numerous threads & responses written in the past day & a half.

Just the sense that justice has finally been served. The fact that he eluded justice for so long and seemingly flaunted it in our faces with his many audio and video recordings just left me with a feeling that the most important job was not yet done.
Now it is done.

Didn't vote in your troll poll, because well it's just stupid

Regarding the poll - None of the above.

We said we'd get him, and we did. That is all.

Bringing justice to the #1 terrorist in the world and demonstrating that we are capable of bringing justice to the #1 terrorist in the world.

None of the above.

How about telling the rest of the world: If you attack the USA, no matter how long it takes, your going to end up in a body bag.

Where's the option for "He's Dead"?
And when can I stop getting felt up everytime I go to the airport?

None of the above.

For me, it was knowing that Osama knew it was the Americans that had gotten him before he was shot.

He's not dead

Can you or anyone prove he is dead?

Some people in Pakistan are going to wind up dead and it won't be to promote a conspiracy. Someone failed the ISI and if you think the results are the same with either party or corporate america I suggest that you disabuse yourself of such ideas.

It's a pleasant distraction from the fact that this country will soon be a large footnote in history as China walks all over us.

nothing and everything. The problems in the US still persist. Largely due to the obama's policies.

I agree with those who said where are other choices, because our concerns can only be with the future. But its somewhat of a sadistic pleasure to agree with BrenCat, to realize that at least Bin Laden had to suffer through some 40 minutes of the same personal terror, he so viciously visited on his victims. Maybe ole Bin Laden though he could still again escape, but once shot in the head, he was probably dead before his body hit the floor.

But still the house had a treasure full of computer data, which may give us enough data to really end Al-Quida. As for other Al-Quida officials, most are probably running for their lives and figuring their safe houses are now probably compromised. Possibly meaning it will take many mounts if not years to to re-establish communications again. As for Al-Quida financing, that may be totally borked for even longer.
