Not to join in on the I hate Microsoft trend but due to the sheer amount of problems I have had with their products that is where I cast my vote.

Samsung. Everything of theirs blows donkey nuts.

They produce some okay RAM, but that's it. Everything else sucks. All their home electronics goods are crap, their phones are terrible, every CD/DVD drive I've come into contact with that's Samsung has died or been terrible at reading anything, and it all feels cheap.

Death to Samsung. Fiery, hot, burning death.

Roxio - When they changed it from Adaptec to Roxio for Easy CD Creator it went to crap. I switched to Nero and never looked back. I hope Roxio goes out of business.

Creative - Makes a great sound card but can't write drivers worth a damn. I have an SB Audigy, their drivers have some bug with hyperthreading and they never fixed it. I had to take it out and put in an old sound card. Finally I found out the KX project put out alternate drivers for the EMU based SB cards. I put my Audigy back in and using their drivers haven't had even ONE crash.

Netgear - They don't support their products. They released one wpa compatible beta firmware about a year ago for my router which did nothing but lock up the wireless. To this day they never released an update. Thank god some people wrote their own firmware for the router which works.

Lite-On - Compatability isn't the best. Their cd-rw's aren't compatible with a number of brands of media. I tried this same media when I got my Pioneer dvd+-rw drive and it burns fine.

Apparently Samsung excel at LCD screens, so I wouldn't worry about that too much if I were you.

Revised list of goods that Samsung does not suck at: RAM, LCDs. That is all.
