Oh yeah to add to the list of gripes. HP.
Got a deskjet 6122 from them and the duplexer only occasionally messed up when it was in warranty. Shortly after the warranty expired it started messing up 4 out of every 5 duplex prints.

On the other hand there has been companies that suprised me.
I had a problem with my KDS Lcd last year, they advanced shipped me a replacement with no hassles and excellent communication.

Edit: I saw the last posters mention about PC Chips. They are pure crap! No boards have ever given me more headaches than their crap.

EA - When EA Rugby came out (finally almost 2 years after it was supposed to), they refused to sell it to me. I called all local stores and even called the headquarters. They were not stocking it in North America. I ended up having to get it through other means and have never bought another EA game since. Probably never will...

PS - The rugby game wasn't even that good.

Dell. Cheap junk. They lie to their biggest customers - say they're getting discounts and then charge them EXTRA. Every single piece of equipment in a Dell PC, save the Intel CPU, is a lowest bidder item. And the CPU is even lowest bidder, since Dell gets somthing like a buy-one-get-nine-free deal with Intel.

Their monitors, save a VERY select few rebadges aren't worth the plastic they're built out of. Their other products aren't even worth considering.

I also hate Gateway, they build crap that consistantly malfunctions. But at least it ATTEMPTS to work.

(For reference, I administrate 60 Gateway systems of P2-P3 age, 1 Gateway system of AthlonXP age, and 90+ Dells of P2-present age. I'll take the Gateway P2's over the Dell GX280's (P4, PCIE, SATA)

Creative, with Real being a close second. I've had to spend hours of long distance calling creative tech support when thier crap didnt work as is should.

Real(Buffer this Biatch)
Microsoft (Fix your fscking bugs before people absue them not after)
Creative (Your drivers suck and you killed Aureal)
[Insert-Shitty-Hardware-Manufacture](Companies like Thermaltake and other crappy companies with products that are designed to crush K7 cores)

That would be a close second for me behind intel. At work we paid $600 or so for the 'good' Veritas support and I ended up with a script reader in India when I had problems.

Newegg would be third.

Any motherboard company that buys bad/cheap/counterfeit capacitors.

Abit is top on that list for me since I've had TWO go down for bad caps.

I had a similar experience with KDS. I bought a cheap monitor for work by them and it pooped out after a week. Their customer service was really top notch when I RMA'd it though, which actually surprised me.

Creative Labs customer support eats monkey ass, but I'd have to go with Real and their lame ass program.
