I honestly had no idea there is any place that has trash day two days a week.

You people need to try to cut back a little on your trash production 😉

Trash gets collected Tuesday/Friday morning (goes out Monday/Thursday night), with recycle also collected Friday morning.
 
I have another trash bin that I pay $7. more per mth for, for similar reasons........... DOGS!
You cannot set any bags on the ground or you will have trash all over yours and everyone's yard!

Chalk one up for idiot (irresponsible) dog owners!

 
Plus I go through the garbage bag to find the bits of recycle stuff they ( the wimmin) just toss in.

We have two for recycle and one small for garbage, and one for green waste. That's always full from yard clean up.
 
here's it's sunday morning. (remember, here it's the first day of the week) and the guys who collect the trash take the bins out and put them in.
 
I take out the trash Thursday night, and take the cans in Friday morning.
Don't really care too much which day it is, though maybe Monday pickup would be best since I tend to generate the most garbage over the weekends.

I live in an unincorporated area, so I have to pay a waste company for my service rather than having local taxes pay for it. I have Groot, which comes Friday AM, but others in the area have Waste Management or Jensen Disposal, which come on Tuesday or on Wednesday.

Are you talking about large community trash bins (like these) or individually sized trash bins (like these)?
