Did it today. It's not that I couldn't stand not having access, but it gave me an excuse to spend the money (VERY poor student) after I said a million times I would after the subscriber service was rolled out.
I gave up and went to bed last night, but i've been thinking about subscribing lately because the load times are sh!tty during the night around here, even on DSL. For me, just plain forums is going faster then forums2 or 3(right now anyways)
<< I'm on dial-up 🙂( ) so I don't think subscribing would make it go much faster. Anyways, I am on forums3 now. >>
Actually, it makes a huge difference even on dial-up.

I can agree with that. I used to think that you'll only notice a difference with broadband but since my DSL is fscked up I've been using 56k dialup from home for about a week. The speed is acceptable on 56k.
Just don't go out looking for butter sized threads and you'll be fine.
havent subscirbed... I'm not addicted enough to care if the forums are down for a few hours or days. And I need all to save all my money for insurance/college....
