I had a fvcking wierd roomate in college. Slept in jeans & a flannel shirt (and yes, socks) every night.
Slept late every morning, but would bitch if I read the headlines of his paper when I brought it in from the hall every morning (but was fine with me reading the whole thing after he had read it.
So I just left his paper in the hall so everybody could read it
I had the most screwed up roommates.

When I go backpacking... and its cold, the socks go on. OF if my socks are damp, and they need to be dry, they are either on the feet or at the bottom of the sleeping bag.

If I've been wearing socks during the day then yes but if I've been going bear foot then no. Generally I do wear socks to bed.
