I was in a discussion with my wife about this last night. We want to know how many people sleep with their socks on. I'll post my opinion later, but I don't want a biased poll.

Edit for clarification: Vote what you normally wear when going to sleep in bed for the night. Example: If you occasionally sleep in a boring class lecture you probably have your socks/shoes on, but if you normally sleep at night with bare feet, then vote bare feet.

No, that's the cat chewing on your sock thinking it's a playtoy. :D

Happens to me all the time. Hence why I don't wear socks near the cat.

Generally speaking, if it's warm to hot, I'll sleep with bare feet. If it's normal to chilly, I'll sleep with socks on.

It depends. Last night I slept with them on, but normally I sleep with them off.

During the summer I can go weeks without wearing socks. I wear socks as little as possible anyway, so definitely not when I'm sleeping.

Off, with feet out from under the covers at the end of the bed even!

Ok she sleeps with them on, and I sleep with them off. It doesn't bother me, but I still think it is odd. I told her that I've never met anyone else who has ever mentioned sleeping with them on. She claims that her feet get wet if the socks are off. To me it is the exact opposite. Sure your feet sweat a bit, but the socks just trap the sweat, causing your socks to be damp in the morning. The only way to have dry feet in the morning is to go sockless. I usually overheat at night, so I definately need the socks off to cool down when I take my legs out from under the covers.

I was really thinking the result would be more like 5% to 95%. So I'm a bit surprized so far.

Don't you use sheets?

LOL, sleeping nude is the only way to go, it somehow feels wrong if you wear anything in bed.
