I used to write Candian F/A-18 A/B weapon system technical publications for Canadian Royal Air Force.

I found that their F-18 aircraft is very antiquated and not compatible with F-18s from USA and other foreign countries.

Mainly because only Canadians refuse to upgrade softwar/hardward on their aircraft while USA and other foreign countries
are constantly ungrade to improve their weapon systems. So, eventually Canadians got left far behind in technology and now
it is nearly obsolete and would have hard time trying to communicate or coordinate any type of attack with other F-18 aircrafts.

Canadian decision makers are very cheap with military equipment so they rather let things slide then spend money to keep up with technology advancement.

Thank god for that. If we had a useful military, the US would be the one using it to further build their empire. Our government is spineless and gutless for not standing up to the Bush administration and saying "no".

My advice to Canada: mind your own business and continue to enjoy the peace you have....unless your population truly wants to "help out" the other Big Western Powers in their slapsticking of evil-doers.

Its just too bad that more governments can't learn to "mind their own business" and stay out of the affairs of other countries.

is that a sarcastic comment directed towards the US of A?

as a Canadian, i'm glad that the US doesn't mind their own business. We'd still be in the stoneages if it wasn't for the huge amounts of trade that goes on between our two countries, and the stability that comes from being next to the states.

So you are pretty much admitting that Canada is just a pawn for US to use.
