I found that their F-18 aircraft is very antiquated and not compatible with F-18s from USA and other foreign countries.

Mainly because only Canadians refuse to upgrade softwar/hardward on their aircraft while USA and other foreign countries
are constantly ungrade to improve their weapon systems. So, eventually Canadians got left far behind in technology and now
it is nearly obsolete and would have hard time trying to communicate or coordinate any type of attack with other F-18 aircrafts.

Canadian decision makers are very cheap with military equipment so they rather let things slide then spend money to keep up with technology advancement.

Thank god for that. If we had a useful military, the US would be the one using it to further build their empire. Our government is spineless and gutless for not standing up to the Bush administration and saying "no".

So you are pretty much admitting that Canada is just a pawn for US to use.

Isn't that the way US sees the entire world?

Canadians know that us Americans are full of it.

We're just glad to have them as our best buddy.

Nope, just outsiders who haven't done a damn thing to make this world a better place but yet like to criticize US for being pro-active.

Amusingly, Iraq probably STILL has a larger army than Canada does. Canadian police have MUCH nicer uniforms, though!

Most police departments don't have very interesting uniforms, were do you live? BTW, I'm proud of our decrepit broken down armed forces and I only hope we can keep it up to the same standard forever.

and I bet you have no idea how anyone would have inferred (erroneously, perhaps) that you were talking about Canada in the context of this thread?

Canada will be as involved in this conflict as we can be.

JTF2 will be out in full force.

The American troops wouldn't want ANY other sharpshooters watching over them.

They are a good group no doubt, maybe the Canadian goverment will let them have the medals the US Military tried to give them.

That whole situation is just madening. Sad... like the "confidentiality" of a unit should restrict them from getting a medal. People obviously know of them now anyway...

Canadian don't need to invade Iraq, because we can easily pay for the oil with our waste water that we are currently flushing down to the US for free.

Goodluck. The CAN gov't has no respect for it's own military and that's why the military budget is about $1500/year for the entire country :|
