POLL: Should a man ever hit a woman?

Generally, I don't hit people, but lets carry this to the logical extreme.

A woman is about to kill your toddler. You have just a moment. You either put her down, or let her kill your child.

That is what EVER means.

I would sorrowfully snap her neck if it were required, but sorrow would be for later.

If a woman is trying to harm my kids or me, steal something from me, or about to cause harm to someone else, I'd take a whack at her.

Otherwise, if you mean, say, the cases of domestic violence that are all too common? Then hell no!
 
If a woman comes at me with a weapon, she's getting decked.

Otherwise, no, I'd never hit a woman.

At any rate, I can't vote in this poll as there is no option for self defense or defense of others.
 
I would never hit a man or a woman as the aggressor. Should they try to hit me, however, I will use reasonable force to repel their physical attack (reasonable force meaning I would use a level of force enough to repel their attack and no more than what they are attacking me with) and ensure the safety of myself, my family, or my friends.

So if it was a woman (to stay on topic) if she was trying to slap me, I would do something to prevent getting slapped, maybe grab her wrists. Her slapping me doesn't justify me belting her in the face. But if she's got a knife, she's raising the stakes... I will meet those stakes accordingly to ensure my health and well-being.

If its a man, and he slaps me (maybe he's a sissy) I am going to do whatever it takes to prevent getting slapped, I wouldn't up and belt a guy in the face for that. If he pulls a knife, my level of force will escalate accordingly... same as a woman.

Regardless of sex, I would meet any attack with reasonable force, as set by the aggressor. They make the bed, they're gunna sleep in it, man or woman. Hell if a DOG attacks me to maim me, if I get my hands on some stick or something its getting a whack over the head...

So what if you were going to be part of a elite squad that was going save the future of humanity and a nice looking woman shows up to blow you and all your friends away? 🙂
























A man shouldn't hit a woman, but neither shouldn't hit men at all, including slaps. I don't think men should pumble women that hit them (like slap), but neither should we tolerate women hitting us at all.

This poll needs to be rephrased. 'ever' is too strong of a word. If there was a women killing off my family, friends, pet, etc.... and was about to come after me next, I would so knock her out. (if possible). But in a general case "would I try my best to avoid hitting a women?" That would be yes.
