I'd love to see the rumored original cut Woo delivered which the studio then butchered.

Segal movies are enjoyable. Van Damme makes me regret eating a meal before attempting to watch his movies.

Well he doesn't claim to be an actual *fighter* he is an actor. He acts as if he can fight so I wouldn't hold it against him that some guy beat him or what not. Most guys can't fight in a real life situation to save themselves. But no point in holding that against them unless they actually claim to be able to handle a street fighter.

Even a sport ring fight is a lot different to a real fight. The floor isn't wet and the ground isn't concrete usually :p. Doesn't make for good kicks or footings.

A few quick punch's will take any guy out. Cheap shots galore!

They're both tools...but at least I can suffer through a Seagal movie. I find nothing compelling about any of the Van Damme movies. More like Van Snore. :D

From the reviews I've read this is the movie you'd be looking for. 117 min running length, but you have to put up with timestamps on the picture :| Also, apparently the really amsuing ending to Fouchon isn't there, either. According to Stomp Tokyo that was likely added after by Raimi.

IIRC seagal and chuck norris had a feud going for a while...where they said seagal kept talkign crap about norris all the martial arts magazines sided with norris.

you got to admit for as old as norris is ..he is still in good shape...he is liek pushign 70 yrs old ..i kid you not ..look it up.

one other thing in the bruce lee movie he is the only bad guy bruce lee feels bad about killing...he even covered up noriss' dead body.....i wonder if that means he thought of him as a great fighter in real life.

Van damme is a fraud. I don't like him. But then again, I don't like contemptuous fat dudes with long greased up hair either . . ..

Eh, at least Segal used to know what he was doing . . ..

I like Van Damme, I think he's cool :)

Especially in Blood Fist! As a martial artist, it's inspirational!

Street Fighter wasn't that bad... "I'm the repo man and I'm putting you out of business!"

Seagal definitely.

Think about Van Damme's Movies: "You break my record, now I break you! Like I break your friend (points to knee with friend's bandana)"

I still like Seagal :). I used to like Van Damme too, but now he is just a coke head pretty boy trying to pick up all the women. And I hate how he has to stretch so damn much in every movie, nobody cares if you can do the splits or kick your leg straight up moron. At least Seagal used to be badass, then he turned into a tree hugger, and now he is trying to be badass again. Seagal rocks!!

Seagal could actually kick anyone's ass that I know. Van Damme is just an actor that can do the splits.

He fought Bruce Lee man that GIVES him at least some credit imo :D

It is kind of tough. Seagal has liget claim to actually being able to fight. Van Damme has none but has flashy moves that look nice on screen, but I can also appreciate Seagals moves on screen.

It is a tough vote. Both had some good films I liked to watch and both right cack films!

I vote Van Damme in the end.

agreed 100%

Seagal is emotionless

Seagal angry = segal happy = seagal irritated = seagal ecstatic = seagal vengeful

if it wasn't for the responses of the other actors, you could never tell what seagal meant

They're both pretty lame.......wouldn't go to or own a movie form either of them.......and Segal with all his "corporate greed" crap in some of his movies..makes me retch. They both could get sucked into the ground today and I don't think most would miss them.

I think Chuck Norris' credibility comes more from the fact that he was the U.S. Heavyweight Karate champion than just being in a movie with Bruce Lee.

However, a quote: Norris said that he felt like an amateur sparring with Lee.

Neither actor is a hack. Both were decent actors in action films at one time. Van Damme couldn't lay off the coke and Seagal just got out of shape. But both produced some decent films.
