Along the lines of what Rio Rebel said, your man will appreciate just the act of your trying to look good for him. I know I would.

Once we were married my wife never went an inch out of her way to look good, the lazy !@%#!$. :|

Sorry, was I ranting again?

Yeah, but what about getting SUNBURN... it's usually extra sensitive where the sun don't shine!

Go naked - that way the skincancer has a chance to distribute evenly across your skin and won't leave out certain spots.

Tanning Salons gives un-natural looking tan. How about paying for the trip to Acapulco??? That will, you get a natural looking tan and a vacation for yourself as well.

Please no tan lines...PLEASE.

Actually, tan lines are only a phenomenon associated with tanning. The beauty in tanning, is NOT to be obvious that you are really light underneath. Where's the mystery?

I personally hate tan lines, especially tan lines on the breasts. Ick! :disgust:. Tan lines along your waste are okay as long as they are very thin. For the most part, I prefer a solid tan over tan lines.

I think the "sexiness" behind tan lines is that we are seeing something that we aren't *supposed* to see. I don't care for pasty white skin so I find the contrast unattractive.

But that's just me. I'm dark all year around.

Good, because unless you speak slowly, he might not understand you. :p

I doubt she'd get sunburnt, tanning salons tend to allow only relatively short exposures
to UV. And the risk of any type of damage is also reduced by the fact that it
is quite natural for most skin types to tan to some degree. In fact some
would consider the vampire look just as unheathly as a constant deep tan.
There are also different levels of tan, from (on caucasians) light brown to a
light shift from the color of unexposed skin. Depending on the time she wants
to pay for, she can get a very nice looking tan without it being too much.

myputer, if your husband is the type to like the look of tattoos, piercing
(beyond just the ears), or other types of body adornment, then he will
probably also like tan lines.

If you're really not sure, get one half completely tanned, and the other half
with tan lines - and invite him to "evaluate" which part he like better.

Or go all tan, and get some jewelry (like a waist chain) that still provides
a contrast for him to appreciate.

The best advice I can give is, get what makes you happy too!!!
If he has half a brain, he will already be thrilled that you want to
be sexy for him, if you are happy about it too, that's an extra bonus
for both of you to enjoy.

Whatever you decide, GOOD LUCK!

I still say that the sexiness of a thong line/no thong line pales next to the sexiness of watching a woman take off a thong (or taking it off myself). In the end (heh-no pun intended) it won't matter what you decide.

Tanning is bad for the skin - there are risks involved. Besides, if you knew me you would realize that half the stuff I say is in jest. So was my comment, even if there is a serious message behind it...
