384mb
2 of my 128mb stick are PC133
and the other one is PC100 .....

hehe, but my CPU is only p2-266@333 😛

I have several machines running on 1 to 192Mb of RAM. 192Mb is in my main home-computer running linux and I actually don't need that much, even VMWare doesn't use up all that. Dunno does Windozez really need that much (256+Mb) RAM just for running everyday apps and do some gaming ? I've got W2k booting with 16Mb RAM on 486...

288 Mb - Dual boot Win98/2000

128 Mb - Kingston PC100 - paid about $39.99 + tax after onvia rebate
128 Mb - PNY PC100 - paid about $156 almost 2 years ago (ouch!!!)
32 Mb - Compaq PC100 - removed other 32 Mb after I got the Kingston, gave to
sisters computer

Might buy another Kingston 128 Mb via Buy.com since prices are at its lowest.

I have an insane amount...384 in this system, 384 in the server, and 256 in my old P2 450. I really don't need it all, but it's just so damn cheap...

512MB PC133 CAS222 (pretested) 2x256 Kingmax TinyBGA in workstation
64MB PC100 CAS222 Memman in server
64MB PC100 CAS3 Kingston ValuRAM in family rig

192 of PC100 running at 133 currently, another 128 of Kingston ValueRAM (133) on the way for $38!!

Can my PIII 500 system really use this much RAM running WIN98?! Couldn't resist, it's so CHEAP!

Unless you do advanced video or sound editting, 128 is plenty for Win9x or NT4. If Windows 2000, 256 is really a must for decent performance, 384 would be great. Anything more is just a waste of money unless you're doing video or sound stuff.

256mb(2x128mb) of PC133 Mushkin Budget RAM(CAS3), but soon to be replaced with 512mb(2x256mb)of PC133 Infineon RAM that can do CAS2. The 512mb only cost me $230 thx to Compuwiz1 and his great RAM deals.
