POLL: period space or period space space?

It still amazes me how the majority is wrong on this one, even in the face of overwhelming evidence. They even read the links stating thatevery single formal style states that a single space is standard and still claim that two spaces is the "formal" style.

Personal attacks over grammar? You guys have some other problems you should be working on aside from how many spaces to put after a period. Seriously. What's wrong with you people? Okay, this is annoying.I admit.But come on. This is just unnecessary. APA, MLA and all other major writing style guides say the preferred method is one space after all punctuation. However, unless you are actually publishing material, who the f&%# cares?

EDIT: Didn't realize that the forum auto-edited out extra spaces. This post makes much less sense this way... I really don't care enough to explain further.
