Actually, Takara, the Japanese company that produced the original toys, made a special run of 15th Anniversary Editions of Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod for the year 2000. They are available here in Hong Kong for the incredible price of HK$680 for OP (that's US$90), about US$50 for UM and HR each....:disgust:

They are a rerun of the original toys, with special 15th Anniversary certificates and stuff like that...attractive, but I'm REALLY reluctant to spend so much....:frown:

Yeah, I had the toys, I actually bought two optimus primes cause I kept breaking the little exhaust pipe thingies on his arms...=)

Wow, I swear, those toys were the best ever, have yet to see any better toys out... except maybe legos.

Anyway, aside from those two, I think Shockwave was the coolest transformer of them all. The voice, the little cassette robots. Everything, that dude had it all.

I agree... Shockwave had the COOLEST voice!
Optimus Prime was a way better leader. Megatron's voice was just so... irritating. The guy was a maniac.

Beastwars, I'd vote for the much improved megatron... only because OP should *NOT* have been a monkey-boy! :|
