Are you kidding? I usually like the bad guys because they look more badass, but Megatron? Hah! Optimus would freaking walk all over him! Coolest leader ever! Man, it was such a mistake getting Hot Rod to be the new leader aka Rodimus Prime. WTF? A camper? They could have at least made Hot Rod transform into something a bit more to everyone's liking... camper... pssh.

Easily Prime. He could beat the crap out of Megs with a blindfold on. In G1, I think most the autobots could basically beat the crap outta the decs. Though maybe not with some of the combiners/gestaults. Metroplex vs Scorponoch? Who's Omega Supreme going to fight? As for Beastwars though, Megatron is easily cooler.
