I left the house for about an hour this afternoon and when I get back the police are there to inform me the place was broken into. Of all the stuff they could have taken the only thing missing besides a couple dollars change is my mountian bike. I have had it for 8 years and it is my baby. I will never find anything to replace it.:(:(:(:( They couldn't have taken the road bike which is the one I am replacing.(I was out shopping for its replacement when this happend.)

The really bad part is that while I was dealing with the police the punk ass fscker was trying to sell my baby at a pawn shop about a mile away. He didn't sell it to them because they didn't offer him enough for his stolen merchandise. Great, I get robbed by someone who doesn't want to get ripped off by a pawn shop. Now I will probably never see my baby again.:(:(:(:(

:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|

This is me and my baby standing around.
Laying with my baby.
Riding my baby.

Don't forget to vote in the poll. And don't ask where it is it might take me a moment to make it.

I'm crying a river for you man..seriously, that is really sad. This is why stealing is wrong. I get robbed on a daily basis.. monetarily though, not emotionally..
we all get robbed monetarily

A few years back while I was in Japan my Mountain Bike got stolen along with my touring bike.

Who ever took your bike probably knew you had it. Your lucky the cops even showed up here in lovely Spokane WA they won't even show up.

Happens all the time. I have a good friends that owns a pawn shop and you wouldn't believe the amount amount of stolen merchandise that the thieves will NOT sell b/c they can't get enough.

Anyway, I voted that the guy should have the bike rammed up his arse....

They came because of the alarm. They crook definately had some balls because the window he came through is real visible from the street. Now I guess I will be putting bars on the windows since he saw some of my electronics. Like the computer, DVD player, stereo and maybe the dj setup.(I have been lazy about cleaning so he might not have seen that.)

Sundog,

It was more personal to me since I don't like supension bikes and you can't buy a good one without it anymore.

Aww yakko, I am so sorry to hear that. :( If you want, I will come down to Florida and help you take names and kick butt. I can be pretty vicious when I have to be. :p

Seriously though, I hope you get your bike back, I feel terrible.

I would seriously like to instate the public beating penalty for people who rob or steal from others.

the theif is tied up and the victim gets to beat his ass.

same should happen for rape, etc.

I voted to beat him senseless & stick him with a 14.4 AOHell connection forever:)

I feel bad for you yakko. One day (at my previous apt.) I looked out my bedroom window to find that my car had been stolen:| The cops found it the next day beat to h*ll and abandoned. It took alot of work but I finally got it roadworthy again.

But I wish I could've found the kid(s) who stole it just to joyride it and trash it:|:|:| -kd5-

Major suckage, yakko. :( A bike is like a horse! i love mine although she's pissed me off a few times. ;)

I was on your side of town doing a photoshoot for a personal training brochure today (see, I really do work on occasion!).

I hope they catch that sob and nail his booty to the wall!

edit: PS... sexy pics. ;)

yakko,

I feel your pain. Over here in W. Palm Beach, I had my 10-speed stolen from my garage about 6 years ago. I inadvertantly left the garage door open for a couple hours and some enterprising little snarf availed himself of the opportunity.

It was given to me by a close friend. It had belonged to her deceased father.

Stupid, little fusk.

yakko, I know how you feel I had my mountain bike stolen about 3 years ago outside a shopping mall, my bike was locked etc,but that did not stop them,I only went to the store for a new phone it was gone within a hour, anyway there is too much of this nowadays & something should be down to cut down the crime rate(I wish we could chop their hands off).

Damn that does suck :( At least you have some nice pics for memories though. I think the thief must be here on Anand's, who else would have voted for Let him go and let his guilt torment him.?
