interesting matchups from a Braves Fans perspective.

Braves OWN the Astros in the playoffs.
Dodgers is the worst matchup for the Cards.

the only team in the NL the braves are likely to have problems with is the Cards.

IF LA beats the cards first round, look for the braves to go to the World Series.

btw, the braves OWN the dodgers too.

My picks for the WS are the Braves vs. Red Sox. NLCS will be Braves vs. Cards and ALCS will be Red Sox vs Twins.

I can't wait to see if Steinbrenners $180 million ball club performs in the playoffs 😛
 
lots of braves haters on this board. there is no good reason to pick the astros over the braves.

shoot, if you want to accuse the braves of having choked in the past, go look at astros playoffs history.
 
I'm a huge Braves fan but I think the Astros will beat the Braves. The Braves played great during the regular season, but the fact remains they grossly overachieved. I think on paper the Astros should win, and if they hadn't gone through that stretch where they played so horribly they might've been fighting the Cardinals for best record in the MLB

that doesn't matter. Different coach, different rotation, different lineup. It's not like Biggio Bagwell and Bell are carrying the Astros anymore.
 
How many games can Johan Santana likely pitch? 2? Outside of him, the Twins are screwed. Maybe he can pitch 3 games...

radke can pitch 2 games. i'd take radke over mussina in a playoff game.

radke only needs to win one. santana can take care of the other 2 wins.
