Might as well keep the tradition going...picking up the 2-DVD tomorrow and I'll get the 4-disc again when it releases. And then I'll get the 20-disc super-uber-elite-collectors-special-edition release when that comes out too :)

I'm buying it now and will also buy the 4 disc version. It's been my experience that buying the other two theatrical releases and then trading them and/or getting rebates, that it really doesn't cost more than a couple dollars, so why wait ?

I wont buy it at all. I'll get it as a gift at Christmas just like the other two extended editions. :D

I'll probably rent the two disk version.

Got it today at Target for fifteen bucks, with a free box of microwave popcorn and a free ten pack of AA batteries. Picked up the 35 dollar DVD player for the bedroom TV while I was at it!

Ditto, plus I got a bunch of other junk. It would have been cheaper to just pay full price somewhere else and not get the impulse items.

I bought it today. $15. Can't beat that with a bat. I'd have paid $20 for it.

TRUE, there will be a 52.5-DVD Uber Ultra Box Set complete with a Spell Casting Gandalf Statue and Live Monkey Genetically Enhanced to Look and Act Like Gollum coming out by Fall, but I just want the movie. Heck, it comes with a DVD full of extras. :)

Prolly never. I watch a movie once or twice and rarely will ever have a desire for the DVD.

Hmm, at that price not bad. Maybe I will buy it :)

Probably buy the theatrical tommorow

Buy the all 3 EEs boxed together when it comes out.

I saw part of TTT EE at a friends house and the story was so much detail filled than the theatrical version, but I want my RotK now.
