Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Well it IS correct.

2nd had the right state at least, but wrong city.

they both got my IP correctly, neither was even close w/ actual location. about 2000 miles away.

Ha ha ha...Both say that I'm in Redlands, Ca. over an hour and a half away from Blythe where I'm at! But that CAN have it's positive side also right? :)

Both say the exact city. (I actually live in downtown Orlando, not just the metro area.) Using the lat/long, however, ip2location is way out in the middle of nowhere east, while maxmind is too far south within the city area. Crow's flight distance, ip2location is 21.05 miles off, while maxmind is 3.71 miles off.

It might be a problem, though, that I just got this IP. I swithed from DSL to cable and just got it hooked up today.

first wasn't even right state - Louisville, KY
second was very close, Decatur, IL

I live in Mt. Zion, IL...basically a suburb of Decatur

both were pretty much right on the nuts, the second one did guess my area code right though, so I voted for that one
(the 1st one didn't give an area code, maybe it has the feature in the full version)

hahaha neither, they both said i was in dallas which is something to the effect of 350+ miles away.
