Is there enough publicly known evidence for an indictment of Trump?

  • No. I would never vote to indict no matter what Trump did.

If Trump simply said, “this is a fundraiser whose proceeds would go to my personal use,” how much, if at all, would his haul be reduced? Most likely it's increased. And"... "when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the wallet. You can do anything.”

"I went to a Trump Charitable Event and all I got was a sore asshole and an empty wallet! However, this lousy t-shirt was worth it!

According to your posts all white people are racist.

Your opinion doesn't mean much to me.
I'll wait until you find my post that even hinted at that.

I was just pointing out a person who bars black people from his apartment building is likely racist. You don't seem to think so.

Once again, give Trump enough rope and he will publicly declare his crimes no matter what his lawyers tell him not to say.

Trump’s Rant About Mazars ‘Will Not Serve Him Well’ in Court: Former Prosecutor (thenewcivilrightsmovement.com)

Appearing on MSNBC later Wednesday, Perry said that in his statement, Trump “admits a lot of the facts that are in contest, and you do rarely see that.
“Rarely within a day or ever do you see a counseled client, or target of an investigation, come out and make admissions that go both to knowledge and to intent,” Perry said. “He has contested some facts that he, through his lawyers, have alleged in the proceedings, against the attorney general’s office, including his knowledge of the financial statements, his understanding of the business, its assets, its values and the like. He just, in his answer, a short while ago, contested any knowledge of those things — and then made this public statement that shows not only was he aware that the financial statements could not be relied upon, but he also showed this intimate familiarity with a lot of the underlying assets and values of them, that will not serve him well going forward.”

While @Amol S. did give an explanation he didn't answer my response about the phone call to the GA SoS, but it was a response.

Still waiting for an answer from @Luna1968

I'll make it easy on you by just asking for one answer, the phone call.

Everyone in the country heard the recording of Trump pressuring the GA SoS to fabricate votes in an attempt to change the results in GA. Just answer that one.

All THIS, and Trump could still be the next president. 😱
That's a feature, not a bug. What "everyone knows" doesn't matter. A trial and conviction are all that counts. As of today, Trump hasn't been convicted of anything. That said, I don't think he'll win again. Though if Biden runs for a second term I wouldn't bet a against it.

Conviction doesn’t matter either - you can be elected president from prison.

Trump is a very, very unpopular figure. He would be a very weak candidate if he did get nominated. Weak candidates can win sometimes as we saw in 2016 but it would take another perfect storm I think.

As for people saying Biden is doomed you should check approval ratings for Reagan and Clinton around this time. Lots can happen over the course of two and a half years.

While Biden's approval numbers are low they are still higher then Trump

What I think is funny is that despite lower approval numbers, closer to the election, tons of people were convinced that Trump would glide to re-election.
One thing we know about righties, they can talk themselves into believing ANYTHING

Trump won
Pizzagate
Obama born in Kenya
Jan 6 didn't happen

It's nor about poll numbers, I don't think Biden will be coherent enough to go through the debates.

Seriously, this shit again?

Biden has a speech impediment and still makes more sense than trump ever will. Let me know when he recommends injecting bleach into yourself.

Well first, the debates mean shit as to the outcome anyway.

Second, you’re deluding yourself again. Reminds me of 2020 where conservatives kept telling each other that Biden was demented, so much that they started to believe their own bullshit. Then when he wiped the floor with Trump in the debates they decided the debates must have been rigged or something because they were SO SURE Biden was brain damaged or something.

That being said, if what they are saying is true that means the Republicans lost to a brain damaged guy, haha.

I've been down this road several times with friends and family. Joe is losing the capacity to express his thoughts in a coherent manner. He has good days and bad days, but it's clearly happening.

Saying "but Trump!" doesn't change any of that.

I think if you’re saying that now there should probably be some sort of explanation as to why you and others said the same thing in 2020 and were so wrong. What changed?

Joe expressing his thoughts in a debate is no longer relevant since the RNC said they ain't showin' up. I guess being a coward is a bigger problem.

It's ok if you're embarrassed to say what baggage you're referring to. It's completely understandable, seeing as how Trump has been the same arrogant asshole for decades but you voted for him anyways, twice.

Embarrassed... you should be for asking a stupid question.

How were we wrong?
My mother and father in law both had dementia. From the onset it took several years for them to get to the point of being unable to form coherent sentences. My mother never stuttered or stumbled over her words, it's just that they were random.
Dementia is an absolutely horrible condition, it robs you of your humanity, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. There is also no shame in being a victim of it. In some ways it's far worse for the family than the person suffering from it. My brother took care of my mother for ten years, to this day I don't know how he did it, I couldn't. After she died he called me to discus her estate, I told him it was all his, he earned it, my other two brothers said the same thing.

Well we have this, for example:

I don't believe that Biden will engage in a "normal" debate with Trump. My wild ass guess is that it will be done on camera from separate locations. The reason for that is so that Joe can use a teleprompter. That's the only way he'll be able to stay on track.

You clearly thought Biden would only be able to successfully debate in 2020 with the aid of a teleprompter. That turned out to be completely wrong, and Biden wiped the floor with Trump with no help. So since you thought he was going to crash and burn in the debates in 2020 and that was wrong, why are you right now?
