Is the WCW invasion angle going to work?

Back in the day, the WCW was sort of starting to flounder (and suck badly), and IMO the NWO take over really revived the WCW and made it much much more bearable. For a while there I enjoyed WCW more than WWF.

Do you think that the WCW invasion angle is going to make the WWF more intersting?

WWF is much better than WCW, but WCW has some pretty cool people, hopefully with Vince in the drivers seat of both things will go up for WCW.

But yeah WWF is better :)

I think it should be pretty good. The thing that went wrong with NWO in the end is that they dragged it out to the point where nothing new was going on. Then it was like, "NWO comes in and disrupts a match, what a freakin surprise........."

Hopefully Vince can keep it fresh.

The dudleys wouldn't have sucked if they would have made them heels in the beginning. When they where heels in ECW everyone hated them; they got so much heat from the crowd.

<< damn torrie wilson has nice features!!! >>

agreed ;)

Dudley's would make decent heels. APA were cool for a while, but they are loosing their gimmick.

HHH is a great heel. Best since HBK and the origianl DX ;)
Too bad he's out for a while :( Sucks...HHH rocks.

And I don't know where that gebronie the rock is and don't really care.

Yeah, HHH was a great heel and Rock was the ultimate crowd favorite. Now that they are both out of action for awhile, WWF needs something interesting to keep the fans. Notice how their RAW rating dropped as soon as Rock and HHH left?

I think the invasion angle will only last awhile(1/2 year?), afterwards you need some cool down(bore down) period for Rock and HHH to return.

ok that last bit sucked...no crowd pops at all...they werent even into it...it would of been nice to have the wcw wrestlers run in the ring during the beatup of test...the MacDaddy skit was excellent though...

btw that was stacy keibler doing the ring announcing....god those legs are divine.

Glad I'm not the only one that gets a little hot under the collar looking at Ms. Keibler's legs. ;)

Very very very nice...to say the least ;)

I think they are rushing things. They should have restarted WCW first. THEN they could build up some character for the organization. THEN they could start to invade WWF. Right now I look at is as a POS company invading the far superior company. (although they are now owned by the vinny)

No one would've watched it. The only slot they would've gotten is a Late Saturday Night slot, competing with the likes of nads hair remover infomercials and reruns of M*A*S*H.

If they keep pushing the WCW invasion with really Lame-O wrestlers like Buff they're going to hose this whole deal up. Not to mention the extra crappy announce team last night! I totally respect Arn Anderson, you can't argue with the fact that he knows his stuff, but he is clearly NOT cut out for announcing. If they can bring the King back, and publicly acknowledge that WCW is hiring the King because WWF dropped the ball they'll have something that WWF fans can relate to in the new WCW. Many people I know that watch wrestling never watched WCW at all, so they have no idea who Buff Bagwell, Lance Storm, and Booker T are - until they can get the hardcore WWF fans behind the WCW talent they're going nowhere.

That was on prime time I believe. We were talking about a TNN Late Saturday Night slot from about 11-12 or 12-1.

They'll have other people. Sean and Chuck weren't bad choices really..

I can see that, but unfortunately it's very unlikely it'll happen now.

Yes, so now they're building up Booker T and all, but yesterday wasn't a good start to it..
