Ooh one more thing from 1wrestling with various comments:
Vince McMahon was said to be noticeably angry at the way the WCW main event match went down on Raw last night. From the work in the ring to the announcing, various sources told me that Vince was not pleased with the segment at all. One person said, "He absolutely hated it". The feeling backstage among pretty much everyone was that they know that the segment bombed and that they know that they have work to do with the WCW angle if they are going to make it sellable to the public.
Well, you know what, that's honestly great to hear. Because, at least we know some changes are going to be made and it's not like we watched it and hated it and Vince was happy with what he saw. It's real good that he hated everything, because, it did suck, real bad. I hope they worked extra hard on Smackdown's script because this angle needs saving, and thank God, Vince and the WWF realize that.
There was a lot of concern among WWF management about Buff Bagwell's performance last night. The consensus is that he needs to adjust his style quickly to work the "WWF way".
Wow...No Kidding. But, this is far from the worst news for Buff as you'll read below.
Sources tell 1Wrestling.com that WWF officials are irate at some of the things that happened in the last week involving Buff Bagwell and others. Our sources say Bagwell was involved in a fight with Shane Helms last week at the WWF training center that is said to have started when Bagwell told Helms he would never be a big star (like Buff) because he was too small. Our sources say Bagwell slapped Helms and said he didn't have the balls to do anything about it. Punches were thrown, and Bagwell walked away with a cut that required 12 stitches.
GREAT WORK BUFF! That's what you need to do. First week with your new company, when you already have a rep for a bad attitude, is put down fellow wrestlers and start fights! Then, at the end, he ends up getting his ass kicked! The WWF should fire this dude pronto or force him to job to Billy Gunn on Metal or something (although, that's punishing those people who watch Metal, so maybe that isn't the fairest thing to do). But, guess what, that's not all Buff did wrong.
