not every fracture is the same...I broke and displaced my finger but could still move it and it only took 6 weeks to heal with no physical therapy

Hey man, maybe i am a bit harsh, i am sorry, i am in a bad mood tonight, just go to the doc and get your hand and half your arm in plaster, i know it hurts, you get some pretty cool painkillers too so if for nothing else, just go to get those.

I once broke a bone in my hand and waited to long, the little finger on my left hand is still crooked and i got a bump on my hand that makes it look disfigured, i am telling you this for your own good, go see a doc.

no, thats not broke,trust me you would know right now if it was.I did mine at work last year with an 8 lb hammer and it looked alot worse than that and it wasnt broke.Hurt so bad I puked though.

I broke my wrist in high school and didn't know for 10 months. Happened during football practice before the season. Push ups were a bit of a problem. Ended up with a bone graft, permanent screw, and 2 pins in my arm.

Incidentally, I'm wearing a wrist brace on that hand right now cuz it hurts today.

It could be a spider bite I had one on my knee and it was about that size, it was red hot and it sorta grumbled a little bit. But no matter what GOTO A DOCTOR. Look and see if there are two tiny raised bumps that look something like goosebumps, near the center of the swelling, thats where the fangs bit you if it's infact a spider bite.

I got in a fight once and afterward my hand didn't look quite that bad, and it was broken. The doctor said the bone behind my knuckle was "fragmented". I guess that was kinda serious. I wore a cast up to my elbow for about 2 months. Pretty much sucked. I have since learned to control my anger better.

for all of those saying "if it was broken you would know it" that's completely untrue. you could easily have an occult fracture of many of the bones in your hand and never know it. and vice versa your hand could look like sh!t and nothing was broken. you CANNOT tell without xrays.

I dunno, it looks pretty horrible. I fractured my hand once and it didn't look that bad.

I never went to a doctor, but now my hand is kind of messed up, so I'd advise you to go to yours. Really, it looks pretty freaking nasty.

And JRS4224, those pictures are really terrible. I thought Judgement had taken the pics with the camera in his mouth or something.

You really don't remember? That's scary. Seriously. Blackouts are a bad sign. VIOLENCE after consuming alcohol is also a bad sign. If you can't handle your liquor do everyone else and yourself a favor and stop drinking before you hurt someone.

Nah I don't really remember... I don't think I was really that drunk though because I remember everything from earlier and later in the night. I kept asking if anyone saw what might have caused my hand to swell. I am not a violent drunk, but thanks for the warning heh.
