Well I would cook for them if they pay for groceries. Otherwise I tell them to make their own food.

Break a chicken thigh, trim the meat and put a ring on the joint. Serve it in gravy with some buttons and a tooth.

they should pay for the food they eat, and the labor. local delivery place has $5 minimum and 15% service charge... go from there.

I prefer it when roommates each buy their own food and cook for themselves.

It can save a little bit of money by sharing that kind of stuff...but I prefer to just have each person handle their own.

Unless they buy the food or do the dishes, the roommates can kiss your ass.

When I cook it's a monumental effort, I make 3-course meals worthy of some restaurants, completely from scratch.
I'll only cook enough for friends/neighbors if they promise to help.
Cooking for a g/f, well, that's another matter. Nookie is involved then. :p

Yup, exactly, I cook for my gf for that reason and many others. Maybe because I care about her more.

you definitly don't have to cook for them, and I would start thinking about asking them to pay for groceries as well and if not then to keep there paws off of your crap!!! put a foot down man!! :)

No, you don't have to cook for them. but it sure is a nice gesture to atleast offer.

"Hey man, you hungry? I'm making sp'gehtti."
"Awww, yeeahh, hellz yeah dude thx!"
"No problem, can you spot me like 2 bones for materials? I'll still make it all" (you were going to make it and clean it anyway)
"Yeah man, no problem."
"Sweet, thx"
"yeah"
"cool"

If your roomies are people you don't really know, this would be a good way to get to know them and have a more casual/pleasant atmosphere in the apt/house. They're sure to reciprocate (unless they're real d!cks). I speak from years of roomating experience. Sharing is key.

Given your explaination you have no obligation to share and if they treat you poorly over it..............Next time cook something horrible tasting so they won't want your cooking anymore ;)

Time to stock up on tripe, cow tounge, pig kidney, and liver..

LOL HILARIOUS!

I think the perfect solution was offered earlier when someone asked if you were their bitch. Next time they give you that look, ask that question to them. "Do you think I am your bitch or your mom?" Then you could say, since it doesn't look like either of you know how to cook, then I will cook if you buy the food (under the same rule that makes I fly U buy work). And remind them politely to replace food of yours that they eat because your not their momma.

Unless you can all work out a way to share the cost of the food or you can cook for each other in turn then THEY CAN BUY THEY OWN DAMN FOOD!

Like to see who they turn to when they're in their own place? Don't think BK give away freebies from their fridges.

And if they keep eating your sh!t, ask them to repace it. Fairs fair.

They would usually go out at night to grab a snack, and not invite me, so I guess its all fair.

see, now that's wrong. how could they not invite you and then expect you to cook for them.
