which one is more important to you.
the poll is limited to the choices given only.
no option for cable modem + satelite, or DSL + cable TV etc.

don't forget, OTA TV means no MTV, ESPN, HBO, etc...

We just got a cable modem but skipped the cable tv. They wanted almost $50 for just basic cable. Internet is $39.95 no matter if you have cable tv or not.

Looking at getting the $24.95 satelite deal that is going on now.

I've been DSL + OTA TV since the end of Feb. when I sold my house. Lower salary will do that to you...esp. post-divorce. :frown:

Been buying a lot of books lately, going for walks w/my daughters, took up jogging. Anything to get away from the TV so much. Now...if I can just lose the computer addiction.....

😉

cannot and will not live without my cable modem. it's the best thing ever, I've had it for almost 7 years already and I'm not giving it up.

I just went a week without cable tv, and I could live with dial up at home since I work at a university and the network is fast.

seeing as how I don't watch tv, this isn't that tough of a choice for me. 🙂 Right now I have a cable modem, but I only get , hmm, let's see, 5 broadcast stations.

If I lived someplace where I knew I could get good reception and plenty of channels (my old roommate picks up ESPN with his antenna), I would take broadcast television and cable modem.

If I only got like 2 channels, I think I would take cable tv and the dial up connection.
