[POLL]: If (when) Baseball Strikes....

They are Still hurting from the All-Star game when it was called off because of no more pitures, that was a stupid move, and now this...i remember the last strike in 96 or something when matt williams was suppose to break 62 homers but the bastards went on strike and i lost all interest in baseball

I stopped after they shamed themselves by cancelling the World Series with the 8th so I will continue my no following no matter what they do.

I'll still be what I am now... a casual fan who casually follows the game.
Haven't been to a game in years, not going to start now, whether they strike or not.

To be honest I like watching Baseball Tonight more than I do a baseball game.

I'll keep following it, but no way in hell will I be buying any tickets or merchandise.

me too... i have only gone to 1 game in the last 5 years anyways... but i still watch the players stats as they juice their way to the record book.

I'll follow it still.............not because I approve but because I have a 13 year old son whom absolutely loves the game..............he's not forced to and plays for the sheer desire and joy of playing the game! Like I said, he's 13 and last this season was 9 - 1 and never walked a batter when he pitched and led his team in batting percentage and hits!

I'll be honest with myself and say that I would NOT stop following the game if they do strike.

I go to 5-10 games a year and am a lifelong Tigers fan. I don't buy that much MLB merchandise as it is, but I wouldn't let a strike stop me from buying a Tigers hat or the like.

I know that baseball is a game and the players are getting paid entirely too much money for what they do. But I also understand that this game is a business. I didn't stop using UPS because of their strike, and I didn't stop buying GM cars despite the fact I witnessed numerous union strikes first-hand in Flint, MI.

It is hard to lump baseball in with those corporations, but that is what it has become.

A ball game is a ball game. If the bitches want to throw a temper tantrum, let them. I'm going to enjoy the games still being played by the people who truely love the sport.

i've supported baseball ever since i was a little kid. but if they do go on strike, i'm done with it. I'll stick to college sports and probably NHL and NFL

Kinda hard to differentiate between them in pro ball.

I swear the only reason this strike is going to happen is so the league can screw the twins out of the post season- and its about time that they get there too. DAH!!! Finally there is a cheap good team and baseball craps itself.

GO MINNESOTA TWINKIES!!!!

i disagree. Minors players shouldn't play. They will be ousted for the rest of their careers. Look at Damien Miller of the Dbacks. He still isn't recognized as an official member of the World Champion team. because the players association won't let him in the union because he crossed in 1995. There are others as well (Kerry Lightenberg).
