American...there is a lot that can be done with American food to give it a ton of variety and flavor. Really, American Food isn't set in stone, as most cultures are, just because of the age of the country.

If I had to pick a country with a more established food type, it would be Italian for sure.

BTW, "Soul Food" would count under "American."

Ok, I change my vote so now I can have cajun food as well. :)

Pizza...it's been most of my diet thus far in life, why stop now. ;)

I thought you meant an actual specific type of food...in which case I'd say noodles.

cajun. without a doubt.

it's probably the only food I'd eat if there were a cajun restaurant in driving distance.

Hmm Chinese since I'm used to it anyways, it wouldn't really be a big change. After that comes American and Italian since there's enough variety there to keep me happy.

American... Plus americanized italian foods are better than the original italian crap...
Italian pizza = the basics(pasta, cheese) + lots of olive oil and a few green leaves of mint or some other nasty italian herb.

Fish and Chips

I could eat fish and chips for every meal.

But I would need a constant supply of larger pants :(

You forgot french food! I would have picked it. Though the caption should be, I don't mind dying at the age of 30 from a heart attack or similar.

African is ludicrously vague. I'd say african covers the widest range of food by far. Even so, I chose indian because there's a huge variety of things I like in the indian cuisine.

You may also want to add indonesian and spanish food.

Don't forget to throw in the fried Mars bar for tradition's sake.

I actually have a shirt that says "It's Pho King good!" ....

Anyhow, I'd have to go with Chinese. When I first saw the title of the post I thought you meant what specific food and I immediately thought of white rice so...
