[POLL] - How much gas do you put in when you fill up?

I just let the thing click off on its own and I'm good to go. I use Pay at the Pump on my CC so I don't care what the payment amount is...

i go for the nice round figure. there's always room for a few little squeezes.

that said, a little squeeze these days = eleventy billion... 😛

I try and round it off, with my car though, there isn't alot of extra room in the tank after the handle clicks off.

I hate uneven amounts, so I try to even it off after it clicks. Especially at the pumps that charge $0.35 for paying with ATM so if it stops at like $24.87 then I'll keep squeezing until it hits $25.15 so that it adds the $0.35 and ends up being $25.50 I know I'm weird like that...but it's nicer when you're balancing the check book every couple of weeks.

RELEASE THE HOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNDS!!!!!!

I fill it up until a it clicks, then keep filling till it keeps going CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK. I don't care about rounding b/c I pay with CC at the pump so who gives a sh!t? 😀

I let it click once, then I fill until it clicks two more times. I don't care about the dollar amount, or whatever...

Never seen a place that charges extra to pay with an ATM card... But of course I just use my Credit Card and not ATM card....

I start the pump and then get back in my car, scuffing my feet on the way. I have to fill it up some more after the explosion.

I don't get the clicks...!!!
I have almost no idea what the clicks are trying to tell me...
...
I always go to the click and then I go more until I imagine that my tank is full...

ARCO does that around here, credit or debit, it dont matter. Teh bastages

I always pay w/ CC, so I don't care about round payment #s.

Here's my "other philarosophy". I can pump 'til it clicks off, but my car is funky. It has like a 1.2 gallon reserve tank or SOMETHING about it. When it clicks, if I pump reallllllly slowly I can squeeze another 1.2 gallons in every single time. For me that's like 37-40 miles extra, so I do it. I like filling it allllll the way up and watching the needle stay on "F" for like 120 miles.

Fill up to the amount of money I have designated for that fill up

... used to be $20 for my SUV and now I've moved it up to about $40 (how can I not ?) .. you can guess that I have a lot of $40.01, .02, .03 show up on my credit card bill.. 😉

$25.50, what are you driving a hybrid? Costs me $60 to fill mine up. :|

well since NJ is full serve, they usually fill it till it clicks then rounds it off to a whole dollar amount

you can just tell them specific dollar amounts or gallons.
