Nice. Do take care of you CRNAs if you would please. Mom was one. She never lost a patient in her 30 years administering anesthesia.

I have a job... but I make most of my money playing poker, and doing what I can.

About 16k a year at my job. I'm in college.

This year I figure I've made about 4k from poker so far.

Edit... looked over my poker records and whatnot, prolly more like 3500 thus far.

Descartes, What do you do?

Own a small consulting firm (with two partners) with a focus on business process and software. That's simplifying it a bit, but it's hard to articulate without boring everyone with the details. I'm first and foremost a software developer, and I mostly consult with existing teams for architectural decisions.

Congratulations to you -- I'm sure it was tough starting up.

you guys are leaving out contracting work which can be almost double your regular IT/Engr job, but you lose benefits/pension, intangibles which can put you over 100k easy. If your wife dosen't work then you end up middle class and not rich at all

Enough where only I have to work and my wife can stay home with the kid.

Usually people who make a lot won't tell you what they do. They don't need added competition. But you'll be very surprised how much people in obscure industries/fields make.
