I make less from my job than investments.. many of you above 30 should be same way if planned properly.. As always it's not what you make but what you save...🙂

$19k without overtime, and i'm guessing about $22k or so with overtime...

Sucks... I outta get my CDL or something. If I made at least $30,000 i'd be so happy. I need to go back to college.

PS. I'm married and all that, too...not just some kid living at home.

16.05 an hour + incentive and quarterly bonuses. 50 cent raise every 6 months til i max out at 17.55 i believe, then 50 cent raise every year. annual income depends on my hours..i work at a wal-mart grocery warehouse.

I've always thought "rich" meant that you can do whatever you want and not worry about money. $110-140 is by no means in that category.

You must live a very unrealistic life. That is my idea of rich and I have (mostly) been there for at least 2 years now. And I don't make anywhere near 110-140.

I think it really depends on your situation, kids, costs, where you live (own/rent), debt, lifestyle you desire, etc... One person could be perfectly happy living in a very small home with older cars, etc... while the next may desire everything new, top end, etc... Neither is wrong, just different. 🙂

And to that point 110-140K a year doesn't make you rich.

Just upper middle class. Rich is the ability to buy things without thinking about it.

hmm, I like this 50K timeshare. I'll take it.

It's never enough! 🙁

Well, not bad considering I only have one debt total (car payment) and I do get paid overtime (worked 1,450+ hours of it last year! )

Electrical Engineer specializing in automation/controls (you know, I get to play with robots all day long 😀 )

40k. I'm an intern at a tech company, doing internal tools development. The money is decent and the position is nice, but I'll need something better when I get out of school, both in terms of money and responsibilities.

My wife makes all the money now. I'm still a student, I get my undergrad next April, but I plan on medical afterwards. I get to be a student for the next 5+ years!!!!

89k last year.
I work as a switchboard technician at a wireless company.
Not bad without having a degree (although I am currently pursuing a BSEE)

This income includes a lot of overtime and on-call pay (I get 200 per week I am on call ~ once every 7 weeks)
