I was sitting on the couch just now, and was gandering at the plethora of remotes I have. I have 7 total:

Digital box (most oft used remote, I gotta switch channels somehow!)
TV remote (only used to switch source on TV for DVD player)
RCA DVD player (use only with DVDs and stereo)
RCA Dolby Digital system (never used, I use the DVD player remote for volume....it never leaves Dolby Digital mode :D)
VCR remote (never used, the VCR isn't even hooked up!)
GE DVD player (this remote is sitting there for lack of a better place, the player is laying in a corner somewhere)
PS2 remote (PS2 is upstairs, why is this even down here? :D)

My girlfriend doesn't understand the whole remote thing, and hates that they lay everywhere. But what is a man supposed to do?!?! :D

I don't own a coffee table so that answer would be zero.

But I have three on my entertainment center. ;)

None. We don't keep them on the coffee table because we always sit on it to play videogames (couch is too far away and the TV is too small). We're just poor college students so all we have is a TV, stereo, and DVD player remote.

Sears store? It's been ages since I've been in one, do they velcro remotes to things too?

At any rate, stick-back velcro is more useful than duct tape as far as I'm concerned. Right now we have stadium seating in our dorm room through velcroing a loveseat and chair to the tops of three coffee tables. Our whiteboard markers/eraser are velcroed to the metal door underneath the whiteboard, and the remote for my lamp is velcroed to the side of my bed. :D

YES. You posted in my thread, you must now provide pics. It's demanded. If you don't have a dig cam, surely one of your "paying customers" do :D.

Pics will be coming. We've done other cool things to the room too, but it's all a mess right now due to our TV being in the shop. Pics by Monday.

it's cool looking, but i hate remotes like that. i like to be about to change channels or the volume w/o needing to actually look at the remote.

I never really thought of that. Never really noticed any difference because of having to look at it. Makes a great nightlight when walking into a dark room. Just stomp your foot and it lights up.
