how do i figure out the correct answer?
Body weight guide

That chart can't be right, I'm 185 6'3", which would make me 10lbs overweight. Following the Body Mass Index, I'm a 24, (25 is normal) and Here it says ideal weight is 195!!!
I dunno, it was just the 2nd link off google. I didn't mean for it to be a definitive guide, just a ballpark thing.

Going by that chart, and assuming "large frame", AND assuming I'm at the TOP of that weight range, I'm 17 pounds overweight.

I can say, w/o a doubt, "That chart is utter bulllshit."

3 years ago, after 5 months of running 8-10 miles EVERY DAY, AND doing 150+ situps EVERY DAY AND lifting moderate weights EVERY DAY AND eating almost nothing but fish, chicken and salads, I was 195. AND I was skinny as a sickly pencil. :(

I gained back 10 pounds within two weeks of eating normally but still doing the same exercise. That chart is CRAP, especially considering the age range they quote.

6'1" and 165 pounds? Sorry, but that is "He's got AIDS and will be dead in a week" skinny!

I'm having a little trouble figuring out what you're trying to say, but I think you don't agree with the numbers on the chart? Is that right? :p

6' 210 lbs and less than 15% bodyfat.

But then, I'm a body builder.
What kind of BB is 6' 210 LBS? Not one that is very competitive. How much would you weigh it you cut down for a competition, 190? Not very big for a Body Builder.

Define "bodybuilder" ?

"Bodybuilding is the process of developing muscle fibres through the combination of weight training, increased caloric intake, and rest. Someone who engages in this activity is referred to as a bodybuilder. As a sport, called competitive bodybuilding, bodybuilders display their physiques to a panel of judges, who assign points based on their aesthetic appearance."
I think the general consensus is that a Body Builder is one who competes, not someone who weight trains.

I must be one of the few who considers someone who trains to be a body builder. It's like saying that someone who plays basketball is not a basketball player unless they play competitively.

About 8-10 pounds. But I'm in shape (Ran 6 miles this morning, then did some upper body work out, and played soccer this afternoon). I just love to eat A LOT. And it's mostly home cooked meals too, not McDonalds.

I'm 6'4" and I was 155lbs in college. I could turn sideways and it would be impossible to see me. Now I'm 200 and trying to loose about 15lbs. I just felt better at that weight
