10 days of vacation + 6 days of Sick/Personal time (PTO) + all the usual holidays. After 5 years, I think, it gets bumped up to 15 days vacation + the 6 PTO. Then it gets bumped up again after another few years, forget how many. Also, not sure how many companies do this, but the PTO time rolls over each year. You can only carry a total of 80 hours PTO at any given time.

As of next year, 15 days and 2 floaters. You start with 1 week, after a year you get 2, after 5 years you get 3, and 15 years = 4 weeks. I don't even worry about the next jump from 15 years because I still got a long way to go.

I get 20 days vacation plus 13 days sick leave. We are also allowed to carry 30 days of vacation and unlimited sick days over every year. Right now I have 66 sick days saved.

23 PTO days this year + 5 official and 3 unofficial unused from last year = 31 days in all this year. Oh and I would try to negotiate for more vacation. I would not go from 4 weeks to 2 weeks unless if the pay was significantly higher.

Two paid personal days.

where are the teachers going to chime in and put us all to shame? They must get like 90+ days a year.

Don't a lot of them teach summer school and driving lessons as well? That would cut them back to just a few weeks.

Thanksgiving week
2 weeks for Christmas
1 week for Winter break
1 week for spring break

Plus summers off, inservice days ,and teachers get holidays off that no one in corporate America get off.

Teachers get more than enough PTO!

PTO for teachers is about the same as for everyone else. No paid vacation, but we do get paid for holidays. Here it's, 1 day - Labor Day, 1 day - Veteran's Day, 1 day - Thanksgiving Day, 1 day - Christmas Day, 1 day - New Year's Day, 1 day - Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday, 1 day this year - Election Day, 1 day - Memorial Day. We also get 6 paid non-instructional days - the day before and after Thanksgiving, 2 days in March and 2 days in April. (These can be changed to work days if necessary to make up for snow days, etc. though.) So a total of 14 paid days this year. We get lots of other time off, which is great, but they're not paid days. I work in one of the lowest paying districts in the country, but I'm not going to complain about salary because the value of those extra days off are priceless to me.

26 vacation days, 6 personal days and 6 sick days per year. I only have 12 weekends off per year though.

This is my second year and I'm still stuck at a week. I think I get bumped up to 2 next year.
