falling down drunk

in that case, a friend and I went to a chill thing at this frat last fall, basically it was just this guy we knew who invited a bunch of girls over to drink, and gave us the invite too. They had like 5 cases of natural light *shudders* anyways we each downed 12 in about an hour and over the course of the hour stuffed another 17 beers in our pockets/jackets then walked out. We stopped on some benches about halfway back to my dorm (my dorm was oh I dunno 2 blocks away if that) I woke up like 3-4 hours later on the bench wondering where I am and we stumbled back. So 12 in an hour, if its like at a party or something where its a few hours long maybe a few more.

falling down drunks a lot easier with hard alcohol

I get drunk quicker drinking beer than liquor.

I feel the initial effects of beer faster than liquor, but if I have 10 shots I'm pretty obliterated, 10 beers and I'm still walkin.

Well, this poll doesn't apply to me. Reason being that it's all relative to what elevation I'm at.

Assuming we're talking drunk (not necessarily "blasted") within two hours:

Orlando, FL ~ 100ft: 8 or 9
Milwaukee, WI ~ 650ft: 7 or 8
Denver, CO ~ 5,280ft: 4 or 5
Top of Mt. Evans, CO ~ 14,260ft: I'm guessing 3 (if that)....never had the chance to drink up that high.....yet.

These numbers are rough though (but they illustrate my point).....as I don't usually pay attention to how many drinks I've had unless I'm driving.
.....Actually, this would be an interesting (and fun) personal study to do, and get some concrete numbers.

The ones I like:
Bass
Stella
Brooklyn Lager
Bud
Corona

The ones I drink if I don't feel like beer but only choice is beer:
Bud lite
Coors lite

The one I drink if its time to get ghetto and fab...
O.E.

😉

EDIT - now that I think about it, I think I have never had a beer that I thought was bad... LOL

Can't say that I've ever gotten drunk just with beer...but that's because I'm not a beer guy and seldomly have more than 5 a night. Went to some Irish pub/bar in Detroit last week, and from 1-10 (10 being alcohol poisoning), I'd say I had a 5 going from...6 beers, a shot of Jamesons and 2 car bombs? This was over about...2 hours.

Depends, if I'm drinking piss beer at a frat house, I could go >10 within 3 hrs
If I'm drinking fine pints of Guiness, 6 in 2 hrs is probably all I'd need to get wobbly

a six would get me falling down drunk i think. i'm a lightweight.

i like guiness, bass and heartland brewery's ipa.

though in all honesty, i'll drink just about anything.

EDIT: oops, i was thinking pints for some reason. 6 pints would get me drunk. i'm not sure how many cans or bottles that is.

Bud Light- 24pk cans. I'm not fvcked up but getting there.
Bud- 15 cans

Thats the only two kinds of beer I drink. I try not to drink Bud Light to much because after 6 of them I have to piss after every other sip.

A 6 of Guinness is like a half case of American beer. Guinness is great, but unfortunately it gives me WMD gas if I have more than a few 🙁 Oh and a pint is 24 oz, vs. the 12 oz. standard (in the US, at any rate - which is where most of AT is). On top of that Guinness has a higher alcohol percentage than most American beers.

Some favorites of mine are Guinness, Killian's, and Dos Equis, though I much prefer tequila

Depends how fast you drink them. IF its over the course of like 5 hours and food is involved. Maybe like 12 or more, No food I can drink like 4 or 5 in an hour and I will be half in the bag.

Higher alcohol percentage? IIRC its about 4%.

Beers I like to drink: Guinness, Newcastle Brown Ale and Chimay (7% cause 9% isn't sold here)

I'm positive Guinness is higher, not quite sure by how much though - but I know it is. American beers (bud, coors, etc) are only 5.5% alcohol, 4% for the lights (I called their 800 number once when the supermarket only had light 😛).
