OH man, to my experience in this hick ass town I goto school in (It's really a hick town even though it has 40K+ people living here) mullets have nothing to do with 80s. There's a LOT of mullets going around.

I am not trying to be an ass, but could you explain to us why you wear a mullet? They were the thing in the 80's but so were parachute pants and I don't see those around today.



 
I have had a "mullet" before they were named, I will continue with my hair style inspite to the current trends, be trendy if you wish, I will continue to have my hair cut the way I want it cut.
 
haha...this thread reminds me of the PowerPoint presentation me and some chick did for one of my classes on mullets....
 
I just want to clarify for people...
a mullet is business up top, party in the back. (short up top, long in the back)

Just because someone has long hair in the back DOES NOT qualify them for a mullet. I have heard people refer to other peoples hairdo's as mullets, when they definitely are not. You need the really short hair up top to complete the mullet formula 😉 If all your hair is the same length, its definitely not a mullet.
