I use my two middle fingers to type, yet I can type faster than anyone I know in person. I would say I can do 70-80 wpm or so, with maybe a 5-15% error. >>



No, that IS a good indicator of your typing skill.

They call it touch typing for a reason you know.

79 WPM w/ 100% accuracy. I never type that fast when I am writing a paper or posting to AT though. I use a semi-hunt and peck method, using just the first three fingers of both hands.

Don't have time to check my wpm now, but I can stay at 450 characters per minute for hours, while automatically correcting errors.

Few guys at Genocide type at over 800 characters per minute without errors.

I used to go a lot faster with less errors back in highschool when I had to type more things. All I do now is nef, talk on aim, and email. Barely ever and kind of thing that really requires accuracy, so I use my backspace a whole lot.

90-100 is highest? I scored close to 149wpm.. ... ok so that was with errors, 135wpm with correcting the errors. That's on a keyboard with fat keys (split keyboard) . I tend to type faster on "regular" style keyboards.... who cares though, I type fast enough in any case.
