Easy question. If anyone has any links to typing tests, put em up!

I type about 70 wpm if I'm copying something, 80 if I'm typing from my own head and really know what I want to say. Oh yeah, and with a less than 5% error rate y'guys. Factor that into your answer.

I can type pretty fast but i start to get bad with errors at some point along the way.

ehn i can type 60 from coping something. with i guess 5% error already included. I can type about 35 wpm if i'm thinking from my head, b/c i never know exactly how i want to say something.

At school, I would usually do around 90-110 wpm

Last time i took a test was about 5 years ago, and i scored about 105. I'm using a natural keyboard now, so i would imagine a bit more.

It was from all the mudding I did in my college days back in '96. If you don't know what mudding is... it's basically text-based role playing games - a typing Diablo because the idea was to build up your character and collect items. Had to type/think fast to be good...

Some people learn to hunt and peck pretty fast. I got 52 on the first posted typing test, I probably would've gotten higher if I hadn't kept going back to correct errors.

typing tests are bad indicators of my typing skill because I have to look at the keyboard, so I slow down considerably when I constantly have tos witch between whatever it is I'm copying and the keybaord. I use my two middle fingers to type, yet I can type faster than anyone I know in person. I would say I can do 70-80 wpm or so, with maybe a 5-15% error.
