Local stations in both SD and HD, plus a few HD only channels (INHD, Discovery HD, etc.).
Right now I'm getting a bunch of stuff I don't think I'm supposed to have, so we shall see.

I have a Zenith 32" (c32v37) that I bought in March, but believe it or not I've yet to watch anything on it in HD. (extremely busy this year) I can comment on the SD which is fantastic through Dishnet. Before the year is out I would like to buy the biggest DLP I can afford.

Is that the one that gets the rave review on AVS forum?
I remember a CRT Zenith HDTV that was pretty inexpensive that they were making a big deal over.

I have Comcast, Motorla 6200 and I record to a JVC DVHS deck over Firewire.
Comcast enabled DTCP protection over Firewire so it's the only way to record stuff like HBO, SHO, etc. If you try to save "Copy Once" flagged stuff to your PC over Firewire you'll get an empty file.

DTCP is set in the box. There are three settings, "Copy Always", "Copy Once" and "Copy Never". Comcast has set all premium digital channels (including HD) to "Copy Once". If you hook up your 6200 over firewire to a non-compliant DTCP device (ie: Computer) you won't be able to do anything with the premium channels. If you try to make a copy of a "Copy Once" recording you get nada as well.hmm interesting, I did'nt realize that Comcast could set limitations on their HD streams like that. Where is the flag embedded? Is it in the actual HD signal or is it somehow added inside of the 6200?
DVHS is digital, so the PQ doesn't degrade as would an analog tape- you're making a perfect digital copy. Now you could say that the signal would eventually degrade, but if you use good tape it won't happen for a long time. But since the big studios use digital tape for most stuff these days anyways it's not much of an issue.EDIT: Are the HD tapes like the typical VHS tapes, does the PQ degrade after repeated viewings?
