Yes, and I tested clean. That was about 3 years ago however. CorporateRecreation probably gave me AIDS. :( Which I then passed on to Nik...

I did. I did ASAP when I found out my Ex-Girlfriend had sex with a bunch of other guys before me.

Yes....and I'm CLEAN! ;)

BTW...some of the tests they do are VERY painful... (swabs stuck places they don't belong, etc..) Plus, they take a couple of vials of blood from you if you get western blot (usually sent off) and the other tests done.

Shouldn't it be "tested against std's"?
If I get tested for std's and pass, doesn't that mean I got something?

Yup, I remember that. Not only was it painfull, but very embarrassing too.

I tested positive for some type of bacteria. Prescribed some meds and I was back to normal in 2 weeks or so.

No, never had a reason to. All of the girls I've been with were either virgins before me (back in HS) or had been tested themselves before/during my time and were clean. I haven't been active in a little while now (my fiancee is currently out west, I'm out east, hard to bone over such great distances), and we're faithful to each other so it's a non-issue.

I would like to point out to people... just becaus YOU'VE been monogomous, doesn't mean your partner has been. I've seen that happen a few times where a husband/wife has been with each other for years and years. Then one day the wife, or maybe the husband, decides to screw the pool boy, who has an STD. They later screw their partner and bamm. Both have it.

Also, some types of STD's have symptoms that aren't always readily appearant on the female sex. Clamidia is a good example of an STD that many times, unless it's a really nasty version of the infection, doesn't always show symptoms in a female.

The only 99% way to prevent STD's is well, not to have the S part. Doesn't mean you can't get that disease that is normally an STD, just means you have to get that disease through another means. Which can be done, if rarely, with different types of STDs. This is why I didn't say not having sex is 100$ way of prevention. Now, living in a bubble is pretty much 100% if no one else gets in with you.
