Once for me in a JHS English class. It was a class reading session. Someone noticed I had a watch and whispered to me for the time. I whispered back "It's 11:30". Teacher looks over, probably thinking I was having a conversation and says "Patrick, there's no talking in class during reading". I respond with "I'm sorry, he was only asking for the time". He then tells me I should've told him that we're in a class reading and that there should be no talking... that it's disrespectful. With a smirk on my face I answer "Wouldn't I still be talking if I told him that?". He knew I was being a wise guy and threw the hammer down on me. :(

I'm still bitter about it to this day.

I was in detention and/or VP's office most of high school, when I was actually there.

Graduated with a 1.6 GPA.

I pushed a bully down the stairs back in 9th grade, which later resulted in a broken neck and hairline fracture on the right wrist. I had to serve 10 school days of internal suspension (like detention/suspension but at school). He was picking on this Asian kid and knocked his glasses off. If I did that today, I would probably been charged with 1st degree assault.

Most fights at school today usually end up with some somewhat serious charges and arrests.

yeap a few times. I was one of the smallest kids in school (well out of the males) so i was target for bullies. eventually i figured out that the only way to deal with them was fight back. got me in a few suspensions but got the bullies to stop and even made friends of some of them.

Also in the 3rd grade i had a teacher named Mrs. Ploger in Samounuk IL, since i was deaf in one ear and had a mild cerbal palsy she said i should be in the special ed school. even though my grades were higher then nearly everyone in the class (also ended up skipping 2nd grade). She would punish me for saying someone hit me or such. hell she made my life hell. by the time we moved i hated school. took years before i started to enjoy it again.

I got in Detention 15 times in First Grade (that teacher sucked ass at controlling her class)
1 time every year from 2nd-8th grade (detention or deans office, once total, never twice oddly enough)
no problems 9th grade on.

I got a study session once, but I was wrongly accused. (6th Grade) Other then that, I never had any problems.

Yeah, I did something in high school. I don't even remember what. It was either in English or Street Law.

Only a few times, for chewing gum (once in 10th grade) and not bringing my tests signed by the day after we got them in 6th grade (a few times in 6th grade).

I got suspended twice. Totally worth it. I never started a fight, it was just one of those no-fault things and I got respect for defending myself. School is like prison in a lot of deeply disturbing ways...

Yep, all through grade school in the winter, my buddies and I would get a ride to school by grabbing onto the bumper of a car at a stop sign and ducking down behind the trunk. We were then free to slide on the snow/ice covered road and let go when we got close to school. Once, we grabbed onto the wrong car (it was the vice principals car), and we ended up with 10 days detention.

I couple of times. It sucked because it was so boring. I tried extra hard not to get caught after getting stuck there...
