Doom3 had better dynamic lighting with less of a performance hit. Infact they could have built a better FEAR by simply using the Doom3 engine.

Finished both. Doesn't even come close for me: HL2 wins. I regard FEAR as only "fairly good." I also don't really see the scariness in FEAR (I mean, I can see why it scares some people, but it didn't affect me personally).
