Hmmm... let's just say if the Creator deserved anything less than an "A" we wouldn't be around to ponder it.

I believe everything is balanced. And as long as good and bad are evenly balanced, then the creator has done his job because we can't live in a perfect world or a world of chaos for too long before it becomes meaningless.

Oh and in a world of chaos, we would kill each other off to nothingness.

Assuming you believe in some sort of higher power ...

How can you possibly rate it if you have nothing to compare it to?

You can't grade until you've lived in other universes created by other "gods".

No, God cannot create a grade so high that he cannot achieve it. God cannot do anything that is by definition impossible. For instance, what happens when an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object? Answer? Nothing... the presence of an unstoppable force negates the existence of an unmovable object. For the same reason, an all powerful God cannot create an object so big he can't lift it, because that would make him, by definition, no longer all powerful.

I'd have to give kirk a B+ for that episode... the way he reacted to that robot believing him to be "The creator" I thought was well done.

Why must people try and assign a personality or intelligence to a random occurence? Doesn't anyone think that our existence is just a random happenstance? The origin of life is simply a fluke. When the right ingredients are all manipulated in a certain way life springsforth. What added the ingredients and did the manipulation? The big bang, matter, and laws of physics.

Lets assume for a moment there is a being or creator which we call God. What need does it have for creating all this? Are we just some form of entertainment for it? Does it like to watch us ponder such things that we'll never understand?

As for a grade (assuming the existence of God) I'd give a D. Who'd be so sick as to allow us the ability to create things like the holocaust.
